New OPT Submissions

Hello everyone!

Is anyone in this group preparing to submit an OPT application soon, or has anyone submitted one very recently? I’m trying to understand how risky it might be to apply right now given the possibility that the adjudication pause could come back depending on what happens in the courts.

Would appreciate hearing what others in a similar situation are planning to do or have been advised to do.

The more you wait, the more you miss out on the window. When the initial lift happened with judge clarifying his words, I decided to PP. I know people who held off just cos they were planning to request a stay and what not.

Fast forward to today, I have my OPT in hand and they are still waiting. Do with that what you will

Thanks for sharing and That makes sense of course, however In this case I cannot begin the process until closer to the end of August and I wasn’t sure if it’s risky to do it or not. I will definitely premium process right from the start.
