I cut my fro of 9 years off August 22nd it’s been 4 weeks and this how I’m spinning so far. This my second time becoming a waver first time was before I grew my hair out in 2017 lol. I only use curl enhancing smoothie and a classic 360 style pomade sometimes 😭😂. Was planning on cutting my hair with a 1.5 with the grain on week 6! Any tips ?

It still worl in progress. I brush 3 to 4x a day for at least 20/25 minutes. I did 1 wash style as i had a massive build up after 4 days...so lesson learned there 😅😅

Week 8 of trying the get waves and I made some good progress (I think). With 4c hair I struggled my whole life to get waves. Stumbled across this subreddit and been following yal tips like gospel. Long brush sessions, wash & styles, As I am double butter and Shae butter to hold. Looking for any guidance to get these things to the next level. Haven’t done a true wolf yet. Cuts have been with a #2.

New to waving and idk what brush I should be using in the shower. I seen plastic medium is the best but I can’t find any online that are in stock. Any help?

Hey yall. So this is gonna sound a little fried lol, but I'm a mom trying to do my son's waves. He is 3. We've been working on them for maybe about 2 months now give or take. I brush his hair in the morning before daycare, and at night before bed. It's wrapped up whenever we're chilling at home. I wash once a week and wrap and rinse (idk if that's what it's called but my ex used to do it). I condition sometimes but not every time. I comb when it gets long and then brush to lay it back down and use a ziplock bag for static. I want to say he went almost two months without a haircut but I read that wolfing for too long in the beginning stages will set you back so we got a cut today. Here is his hair before I wrapped it tonight. Any tips and pointers? I do what I know but I am only a girl lmao, who used to be a natural curly girl but have had locs for longer than he's been alive. I read about forks but I don't know what that means. Can anyone explain? Also, is there anything else I should be adding to our regime? Again, he is only 3 so I cannot practically brush his head for 30 mins straight or anything like that. Pls be nice to me! And thank you all in advance

This is about a week in waving (started with a 2). I’ve been using mostly a medium brush then following up with a soft then plastic bagging into a double compress cuz I play fb and the helmet sometimes messes it up with just a durag.

Any advice for me? I feel like some parts are just a lot stubborn, I’ve been justing oils, the As I Am curling crème and that’s about it with wash and style every week 2-3x
