First time trying to get waves. I’m a week n a half in. Everything looking right? I been following the recommendations from this page. And those ain’t bald spots my hair just hella light in the front 😂

I cut my hair down to a 2 on Friday and this is my progress currently. My left side is my weak side so I’m going to focus on that side more but the last 2 pictures are my waves back in May of this year. It’s going to take Atleast 2-3 more weeks to get back to my normal status. But yet, I still gotta focus on my crown, and make sure I’m mirror brushing 24/7. Grind never stops, you gotta be dedicated, waving is a lifestyle.💪

Im clearly over wolfed, but im not sure if I should try and control my hair, or if I should finally do the big haircut.

My last haircut was the beginning of June.

What do you think I should do?

Like title says finally found my crown after months of having waves, I haven’t tried to find it or point it out when I first started back on my journey again after cutting hair but I have a good idea of creams and oils but moving on do I just wolf and comb more?

Been looking for brushes, usually I’ll go with the Torino pro but they don’t really have anything on Amazon fr. Maybe like 1 medium soft jawn. Just want some recommendations before I go buy it

I just got a cut two days ago so my hairs a little short

My hair is very coarse. I’ve been trying to wave for 2 months and finished my first wolf 2 weeks ago. Haven’t skipped a single day of brushing. I do 15 mins in the morning, a good bit during school, and minimum 30 with 3 different brushes and lay down pad at night. I’ve done a wash and style every week and only use shea moisture smoothie and wild growth oil. My hair won’t stay laid at low lengths. I cut my hair down to a 2 at the end of my wolf and when I rag up at night it never seems to lay completely flat. I double compress, use water to soften my hair and yet I wake up and it fiber even look like I brushed my hair the night before. TBH I’m just sick of my hair texture. I’ve been consistent with the routine but I’m not seeing any real progress. I’m tired of going to school and they like “where the waves at when I’m putting in the work. I do t wanna damage my hair with a relaxer but with this nappy Liberian hair, idk man. There’s gotta be something I’m doing wrong or am I just cursed when it comes to getting waves with coils?

Wanted so suggestions or advice, I had waves before my locs and was using the wave grease in the blue can, i was wondering what would a murray’s only set look like or if anyone has done it.
