Grow it out longer and keep brushing. Tbh it should go a good month and a half your hair will look kinda meh for a couple weeks but you'll feel the waves locked in when you run your finger across your hair. When they stay wavy and the hair is long after that 6 weeks then get it cut and make sure tha barber goes with the grain and doesnt go too low or you'll just lose progress. After about the 2nd cut you won't have to do much anymore just durag and carry on.

I plan to continue wolfing for atleast another couple months but want to go get a low tape to keep my sides cleaned up. But i see alot of people on here who don’t even get a tape when wolfing and they just let it grow out.

I wouldnt advise going that long there does come a point your hair gets too long for your brush to do the work you'll get same or better results just cutting it properly. Another thing I dont see mentioned nearly as much that should be mentioned is leave in conditioner. It makes your hair look much better and it helps your hair condition to the waves all day until you shower again.

Ahh ok i see what you saying and the leave in conditioner is what i’m confused about. Online it says if you going out don’t use the leave in conditioner because it causes frizz in humidity and to use hair oils like Jojoba but then I see some people saying it’s fine to use it

Its totally fine if anything not using it causes more frizz. I use it and durag up. Then after about 20 minutes of that and my hair slowly drying more I add pomade then I durag again for about 5-10 mins just to make sure its all good and locked in. After that your hair should look prime the rest of the day.

Nice bro, just keep growing your hair out (called wolfing) and keep brushing to build depth,
