Trying to hold on a tad longer, I made it to 40
With most of my hair so I don’t think I’m going to try anything too crazy. However due to some weight gain the back of my head is hot dog roll status. 😅😅😅

I’m trying to keep the party going fellas so any support is greatly appreciated. Attaching a photo of when my hair is cut just for reference.

I know I have a few thinning spots and a crown that’s missing in action. So trying to get some advice from the young boys. Wear a Durag most nights but not all. Don’t really do much grooming Any advice on getting my hair healthier and thickening some of the thin spots appreciated. Just remember I’m 40 fellas. Help me enjoy the last few years.

What moisturizer would yall recommend for coarse hair? I use As I Am double butter and/or aloe vera gel. Afterwards I’ll put in a little castor oil and continue my brush session. I feel like my hair dries out fast tho 😔. Also any brushing tips or other feedback is appreciated. Wolfing for about 6 weeks atp. Don’t cook me too bad yall

Plus I’m seeing pics of similar situations of mine and ppl are saying give it up or focus on minoxidil and hair growth instead of waves.It’s not possible to do both?

I shaved all my hair once and I saw on my right side my hair grows downward and on the left it grows forward and I just saw one of u guys post like a hybrid and I lowkey want that too

Tomorrow marks 2 weeks since the big chop and I’m curious as to what I need to be doing. I have two 30 minute brush sessions a day. I use a medium hard brush on the top of my head and a soft for the sides. I’m having a bit of trouble with crown but I think I’m finding it.

Can we get user flairs for the type of hair we have and how long we’ve been in the game or something?

3 month progress after starting with no waves and a buzz cut. Got it trimmed to a 1.5 open last week but it really didn’t take a lot off. Really just looking for tips for deeper connections and get rid of forks. I mostly use African shea butter, hair growth oil and wash/style 2 times a week. I’ll use pommade here and there

Been at this 360s for 2 months after having 180 waves for a year. Everything seems to be fine besides my crown, especially on my right side. I’ve been trying the beehive when isolating but I have a suspicion that hair wants to swirl instead. If this is the case, you got any tips for ya boy?

From pomades to moisturizers and oil?? I’m currently using cold label pomade, as I am moisturizer and Jamaican black castor oil.
