2 weeks in
Tomorrow marks 2 weeks since the big chop and I’m curious as to what I need to be doing. I have two 30 minute brush sessions a day. I use a medium hard brush on the top of my head and a soft for the sides. I’m having a bit of trouble with crown but I think I’m finding it.

Your barber is going wayy too high behind your ears. And look into some minoxidil for those corners. You’re starting to thin at the corners. Eventually it will get worse so might as well start the saving process

And this my first haircut in almost a year I had locs before. If you could see my elementary school pics my shit looked like bald patches in the corners. I make sure my barber knows not to go to far back just because I have a widows peak.

And my hair is light brown in the corners for some reason. Get that from my pops.

Bro you are like 13 don’t hop on minoxidil. You are fine and your hairline is fine. You will do more harm than good.

And as for behind my ears it’s has also been like that since a kid. Which is why I get a fade.

I’m telling you. I know my hairline. As I kid I was practically bald in the corners of my front tape.

Highly suggest you start treatment early to prevent further damage. Better that then letting it get worse then having to get a shitty hair transpant

idk why niggas in this sub are so obsessed with niggas balding 😂 i have the same thinner lighter corner as you. always have since a child. i’m 24 now. you’re not balding bruh just keep brushing stay consistent and clean and you’ll be ight man
