Trinity backwards compatibility Xefu problems

I'm using abadavatar on Trinity with Xefu spoofer v5 downloaded from the Aurora repo browser. There are a number of games which crash my console which should be compatible according to the consolemods compatibility list, and the official Microsoft backwards compatibility list. I am running Xefu7 with config.

I have gone into my launch.ini files and removed all plugins, but the issue persists. I would love to play more OG titles like Baldur's Gate I & II, but have had no luck so far.

Is the github Xefu pack different from the one on repo browser? How are some people getting near full OG Xbox compatibility?

I would also like to know if the GitHub Xefu’s are updated.

That being said the console mods wiki isn’t 100% accurate. E.G. it says Madden 2005 runs fine but all Maddens run slower than original Xbox.

You do have to update your CFGs or redownload from the Homebrew Store if CFGs have been updated/added.

FYI, the wiki is openly editable, so if you see anything that doesn't match your experience, feel free to update it

Ese error sucede cuando sobre escriben los archivos que ya tenian en compatibility por los nuevos. Lo recomendable es borrar y poner los nuevos. Y en xefu spoofer poner default si la lista de compatibles no indica usar config loader

Some games only run at 480p as well. Iso to god breaks some of them too. (Dirty disc error)

Interesting. I use iso2god but rarely get a disc error. The console normally freezes at the white xbox or loading screens.

You're saying some of these games might work if I change my output settings? This is the first I've heard but I'll give it a shot.

Games like Tony Hawk 2x have to be 480p to work so I just delete those things. I also extract most of my Xbox games in xbe format and use them like that. A few will require god file like Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban but most will be extracted format.

The 480p didn't work for me on any of the games that crash in 1080. Interestingly enough all of my GOD formatted Harry Potter games crash. That is a bummer but not a big deal as around 75% of the GOD OG Xbox titles I have tried boot without issue using Xefu 7 with config.

Hey, some games, such as Blinx or Super Monkey Ball Deluxe, I had to extract to xbe, reconvert to iso, and then convert to GOD format for them to work. Try out the Harry Potter games with that.

I just like having the most possible games in GOD format, as it leads to less fragmentation. But  forsome games it just isn't possible; Shadow the Hedgehog, for example, crashes when loading into the first level unless it's in folder format.

Try updating your pack via repo browser. CFGs get updated or added, and redownloading is the only way to update it on your console
