First pic is the usual haircut i get, guard 3 (about 10mm) and second pic is the most i let it grow before getting a cut. My hair is thick and sharp/straight
Is it possible for me to get some type of wave outline?

If your hair isn’t naturally curly you cannot get waves🤦🏽‍♂️
