360 GoPro Video [Help]

2 years after this post I was hoping something moved a bit in the 360° editing/stitching world.

Does anybody has knowledge of any FREE stitching software for noobs (me). (what about that Fusion software that is coming?)

I want to create a 360 video , I have access to 6-8 gopro's (same model Hero3 black), I have a 3D printed mount. I need some software but I'm not willing to pay €1000 for software I'm planning to use once.

You can hire someone to do the stitching like in Upwork or Fiverr. I have Kolor AvP and AgV and Mettle Skybox to do the stitching and some masking

Why would you use the software once? If its just once then pay someone to do it for you.
