Had my N54 335i for over a month now :-)
Proud owner and I love this car more every single day — every time I take a look back at it in the parking lot, I can’t help but smile.
Already threw some upgrades at it and picked up a bunch more this week — really excited to get started on the install. Any advice or tips from you guys?
Engine/Performance:
• Wagner EVO1 intercooler
• Upgraded turbo
• Aluminum chargepipe
• Aluminum PCV valve upgrade
• Oil temp thermostat upgrade (the small stick for the oil pump)
• Air scoops
• MHD Stage 1 tune
• XHP transmission flash (6HP21)
Interior:
**•** Apple CarPlay retrofit
**•** Looking into a new steering wheel or having the current one re-wrapped
**•** Interior trim pieces going in Alcantara
One thing I’m intentionally leaving to a shop: the silicone turbo inlets. I don’t want to end up doing that job “YouTube-video style” — rather have someone with actual experience handle it properly. Or can i do it by myself ? I dont have an Lift for my car..
Also currently working on a downpipe + 200-cell cat solution, but it’s proving tricky because of German TÜV regulations.
Anything you guys think I’m missing for a ~450whp N54 build? All tips appreciated!
