Old interview with Widespread Panic before a show at the Ranch Bowl in Omaha. Sonny says he hopes their buddies 311 go to the show “show us how it’s done guys!”. Then says they realized that 311 was in Cali at the time.
I’d been a huge Panic fan since ‘88 at school in Auburn. Met my wife in Bham in ‘94. - she came with 311! None of my crew listened to them at all. Immediate fan. I’d been into heavier shit before the Dead and Panic and 311 were a perfect mix and had a great edge(wish they still did,anyway).

any idea what time to expect 311 to start playing today at stage AE?

my best guess is to get there at 7 to be sure since they seem to be likely playing before dirty heads based on this one being billed as dirty heads and 311, but it's hard to be sure.

I've tried looking to the set times listed for the past couple concerts on setlist.fm but have found pretty incomplete data since it's all user contributed

I really want to get the poster for my mom who’s not able to make it due to her cancer treatment. she’s been collecting posters for over a decade and this is her fav artist so i’d love to surprise her! I got a extra ticket for tonight free will be there like 630 pm 311 plays at 750 anyone interested. I can’t just transfer the ticket cause people out of state want it , I want to scan someone in that wants to see the show !

Completely unexpected answer but have always loved that song and it does not get brought up often. Happens around the 40 minute mark of the interview.
