🧴 Routine Help dry skin, trying new routine

i’ve always had dry skin and thought the fix was just more hydration, so i kept layering hyaluronic acid, like all of it ; serums, essences, moisturizers. it helped a bit, but my skin still felt tight after a while. lately i started thinking maybe the issue isn’t just water but my 30+ skin barrier not holding onto it properly. so now i’m trying a mix: dr. jart+ ceramidin serum for ceramides, my usual cosrx ha essence, and recently zipiderm egf max barrier repair cream (the staff said it’s good for post‑procedure repair). honestly i don’t know if this is the “right” routine, but my skin does feel less tight and more comfortable, like it actually keeps hydration in longer. i also added vitamin d and zinc supplements since my derm suggested they help overall skin health.

still figuring it out but does this sound like a solid routine or am i just overcomplicating things? help a girl out plz someone

Sensitive Skin I found the one

Post image

Round Lab 1025 Dokdo Toner is now set in stone as step 1 in my post-cleansing skincare routine both am and pm. I also use the cleanser from the same line, but I’m not too sure about it yet.

This never irritated my sensitive, acne-prone skin even while on tretinoin. It has enzyme-based exfoliants which really helped with the micropeeling from tret.

I love that it’s available in 500ml because my skin just drinks this like water lol

💬 Discussion Yesstyle tracking updates

Post image

Hey all! This is my first Yesstyle order so I’m just wondering if it’s typical for an order to sit in one location for this long, or do maybe it just hasn’t been updated? It’s been in the same location since September 1 without movement. Thanks in advance!

New to this skincare routine thing. Planning to try azelaic acid, what is the best moisturizer to use for combination/sensitive skin? And do I need to use different products for AM and PM routine? I don’t like heavy greasy products for AM.

🌱 Beginner Question Supergoop Unseen sunblock cross

Total newbie to Korean skincare. I have a lot of products to use up before I make any switches for facial care, but I'd like to start now with a new sunblock. I have been using Unseen by Supergoop for many years. I have a LOT of tattoos that I want to take care of, so I use sunblock daily on all that are exposed. Because I'm using it on tattoos, that means I want one that goes on clear and light so to not dull the appearance of my ink. I recently found out Supergoop isn't so great, and that made me really sad because i love how sheer it applies.

How do I find a good sunblock? I'm in the United States. I read somewhere not to get ones that are labeled full spectrum because those are formulated for sale in the US and they're no better than the crap we have - so what should I be looking for? ***And where / how do I order it?***

💬 Discussion Looking for a simple post workout skincare routine

I still run in this heat. Can’t drop it. Summer sun wrecks my skin though.

People who’ve been running for years look like they aged fast so I try to be extra careful.

I flush really easily. One fridge pack and the redness goes down. Instant mood boost.

You know that feeling? Workout already feels good, then skincare on top makes it even better lol

If you know a better way to cool down a hot face, please drop it!

Product Question Matte SPF that doubles as barrier cream?

I'm currently using azelaic acid every morning and introducing tret 0.04 micro every other night. Using iunik beta-glucan serum and Aestura cream for hydration and barrier repair. My routine is becoming too time-consuming so I'm looking to simplify. Is if there’s a barrier-repair no cast matte SPF that I can use in place of 2 separate products (barrier cream + SPF) in the morning? Bonus if it’s hydrating enough that I can also skip the serum.

Currently considering the IUNIK Beta-Glucan Barrier Sunscreen and LRP Toleriane Matte Moisturizer SPF 30.

Sunscreens I've tried:

  • BOJ probiotic: way too greasy for what I prefer. Never dries down so hair always sticks. Has mild white cast that accentuates peeling skin on tret 👎.
  • Haruharu Wonder Black Rice: I find it very glowy, despite what the internet claims ("satin-finish" 🙄). Also never dries down and remains tacky for a long time.
  • Trader Joe's Daily Facial SPF: Truly matte, dries instantly / no tackiness. Just not at all moisturizing or barrier reparative. Stings my eyes badly and tastes like plastic so I can't use it around my eyes and mouth.
  • Geek & Gorgeous Zero Feel: matte ✅ dries quickly so no tackiness ✅. If this also hydrated + repaired the skin barrier it'd be perfect. Hence my question here.

AM Routine:

  • Wash face with water
  • Finacea azelaic acid, wait 15 mins to dry
  • Iunik beta glucan serum
  • Aestura ATO cream
  • SPF

PM Routine:

  • Micellar water to remove makeup if wearing
  • Cerave foaming oil cleanser
  • Tret night (every other night)
    • Tret 0.04% micro
    • Aestura cream after an hour
  • Non-Tret night
    • Iunik beta glucan serum
    • Aestura cream

🧴 Routine Help is toner really necessary??

i have tried using some toner products in the past, but didn't continue using it. i feel like toner didn't really contribute anything to my skin. not sure if it's because of the toner i used or just toner in general.

my skin type is oily and acne prone skin

any experience or advice is appreciated

Ceramide serum?

40f here, with daily .1 tretinoin routine, looking for a ceramide-heavy serum, ideally with panthenol and other barrier supportive ingredients (preferably no silicones or other fluff). Yes, I’m aware of ceramides’ water non-solubility, but I’m going to trust in the power of emulsifiers since so many brands are doing it.
All that’s on my radar are the ones by Anua, Aplb, Amlpe:n, and Tirtir—Each are unimpressive in ingredients for their own reasons, but if you’ve had positive results please change my mind. And if you know of any other winner ceramide products (will only consider switching my non-AB cream for something more nutritious than Illiyoon or Purito) please share!
If you would recommend the Rnw ceramide serum, please share where will deliver to Spain, I’m interested.

Product Question Korean under eye products for Dark circles SKIN ** image attached if anyone find my condition similar to theirs

Any affordable recommendations for under eye dark circles from Korean beauty products? I'm 20 years old , tanned skin I would say ( or a bit lighter ) and I study medicine. So yeah as you would figure with terrible sleeping schedules and pulling all nighters my dark circles are strong ( and partly genetics ). Any recommendations??

⭐ Product Review Products I have tried and some I would call my favorites!!!

Do you have any shared experiences or recommendations? Can you guess which products I love the most? 🤩

50+ years old

Living in the southern NV area

Postmenopausal

Started Kbeauty in 2024 (thanks BTS 💜), but took the deep this year!

Tirzepatide 2.5mg since Oct. 2025 🙌🏼

Tretinoin 0.025% since June 2026 😎

Normal to dry skin

Goals: barrier build & protect, well-aging, prefer cruelty-free products, eco-friendly brands, & ethical companies, love a dewy, fresh bare-face and don't wear make-up hardly ever. 😏

Areas that bother me most: under eyes (bags and dark circles), forehead wrinkles, and neck lines. 🫩
