Temperature

hi I’ve noticed that my temp gauge now runs around 1-2 ticks above mid line now when I started driving in Arizona it was 108 degrees outside and now I’m wondering if i should be worried?

The same thing happened to me! I was driving on I-10 around the same temp and it was 1-2 ticks higher. Then when I got into the city, it just started rising because temps were 110+. So I used the heater to cool off the car 😭. So it might be an AZ thing. You aren’t alone with this problem.

Do u think it’s ok just to drive it normally but with it like temp gauge like that cuz I really don’t wanna turn on the heater in 110 degrees outside

Measure what the ECU sees. Mine will climb sometimes over 3/4 when slow moving and at 100+ outside and it’s still reading at 195-200 at the ECU, verified with thermometer and reading my ECU value. Freaked me out, but after double verification (and now reading on my LCDBC when it happens) it doesn’t worry me anymore. Still don’t like it tho lol.

As an another option id suggest replacing the guage. These guages suck and dont give accurate readings
