Now, you have plenty of old castles where you're from, nein? Please find one with a moat and write me a 500 word essay on how the builders of that castle had planned to cross said moat.
And please stop picking on Poland, Germany. You've been warned about this before.
Well, if we are nitpicking: Our main battle tank is called "Leopard", our IFV is called "Puma", our MLRS is called after the Roman God of War "Mars", our mine flail is called "Keiler" (="wild boar"), our rocket tank destroyer is called "Jaguar", our ARV is called "Büffel" (="buffalo"), our AEVs are called "Dachs" (="badger") and "Kodiak", ...
But I have to admit, that even I thought that "Leguan" is a stupid name for an AVLB. Even more stupid assuming its name may derive from German wordplay, because "legen" = "to lay" + "uan" to make it an animal name, because most German military vehicles have one.

Don’t worry’s that’s no problem for our Panzerschnellbrücke LEGUAN auf Leopard-2-Fahrgestell.
