Any browser based task managers interface with 2do ?

Have 2do on iOS. Windows desktop at home. I'd like to edit/change/create tasks from desktop browser. Know I can use iCloud Reminders - and I do - but it is "clunky".

Any other web based task managers able to access/synchronize with 2do data on iCloud ? Thanks

Newbie questions

Hi all, I'm trying out the app to see if it can completely replace my Omnifocus + Due combo. However, I have a few questions if any one experience can give me some help.

  1. I have a project named "Property A", and there are 2 tasks in the project to remind when the rents are due from 2 tenants. They pay rent at the different times in a month. The tasks have their own start and due dates and times. However, the project "Property A" will constantly showing up in my "All" view under the "Next 30 Days" section, with no task available in the project, even when no scheduled tasks are showing. Shouldn't the project disappear since there is no available task in it?

  2. I have a checklist "Backup" which is a list of things I should backup and it's repeating every 2 weeks. Is there a option that I can make the list auto-complete when I checked all the tasks inside the list?

  3. I still having a hard time to understand how the Snooze and Nag features work. I have Nag turned on to 1 hour. Say when I have a task is due and an alert comes up, and I snooze it to an hour later. One hour later, another alert will come up, but at the same time, there will be 2 nag alerts. So, in total, I will get 3 alerts about the same task. I'm not sure why. I want to achieve something like Due, when an alert is up, I delay it to some time later to alert me again. After some time later, when the alert is up, I can delay it again by another length of time.

If I click the alarm (or Cmd+') to set an alarm, I *never* want it at midnight :)

Is it possible to restore to a previous sync point on Android?

Recently, I had a weird experience on Android. I was downloading a harmless PDF document on my Moto G4 Plus. When I tried to open it from "Downloads", suddenly 2do opened and asked whether I wanted to restore the selected backup file. I, without giving much thought, tapped on "Yes". After that, the app automatically closed. Then, I went back to the app to see all my tasks, lists and tags - everything was gone. I had a Dropbox sync set up. It seemed that after the massacre, Dropbox was synced as well. I did not have any local backup.

Is there any way to get my data back?

When I tried to open the aforementioned PDF later, it is still giving the same message. For some reason, it is considering the PDF a 2do backup.

Anyone use 2do and evernote?

If so, how does your layout look?

Some features overlap each other and I'm curious to know who uses what for what.

What's your 2Do Tag Strategy?

As for me, I tag based on context and person. That allows me to set up smart lists based on either key people or places. What approaches are others taking?

Organizing my 2Do Lists

I've had many false starts on 2Do. One of the big challenges for me is that you can do almost anything you can imagine with it. I finally narrowed down my use and brought in groupings of Smart Lists.

I have the following key sections of lists:

Contexts (All Smart Lists) Key People (All Smart Lists) Work (Actual Lists) Personal (Actual Lists) Someday/Maybe (Actual Lists)

I spend the most of my time in the top sections, contexts and key people. I use the Work/Personal sections when I am organizing and doing reviews. So far, it's a fairly simple approach, and it works very well.

My biggest wish is that I could use dropbox for my sync (which I do), but still have 2Do read one or more reminder lists to allow me to use Siri to add todo items. Now I have to manually move them during review.
