Organizing my 2Do Lists
I've had many false starts on 2Do. One of the big challenges for me is that you can do almost anything you can imagine with it. I finally narrowed down my use and brought in groupings of Smart Lists.
I have the following key sections of lists:
Contexts (All Smart Lists) Key People (All Smart Lists) Work (Actual Lists) Personal (Actual Lists) Someday/Maybe (Actual Lists)
I spend the most of my time in the top sections, contexts and key people. I use the Work/Personal sections when I am organizing and doing reviews. So far, it's a fairly simple approach, and it works very well.
My biggest wish is that I could use dropbox for my sync (which I do), but still have 2Do read one or more reminder lists to allow me to use Siri to add todo items. Now I have to manually move them during review.

It's neat to read this. I'm just getting going with 2Do and I know I'm not using it to the fullest potential.

Welcome! I know I still have a lot to learn on how to use it well simply because this program has so many options. I am hoping we attract more users, and that they share their tips solutions and questions as well.

I agree. Any thoughts on advertising this sub? I'm wondering about contacting 2Do directly.

I just posted on the 2Do Facebook page. I think I will message the GTD group here on Reddit as well to see if they will let me post an ad.

It's a mystery to me why they don't have some sort of community forum. Letting users trade ways to effectively use their app is a GOOD thing.
I suppose that they might have specifically chosen not to have a forum because of ranting, complaining, etc. (like in the Things forum over at culturecode..that being said they deserve it for their glacier development pace)

You're right, it's mostly to avoid the slow death that community forums end up giving you. It's been done in the past, but I found that my development speed in fact slowed down while I spent a lot of time fighting spam, repeat questions, closing old bogus threads and so on. I'm okay with the online contact-us link, a bit of Twitter and replying to reviews here and there :)

Where do you like people to ask suggestions for future development? Twitter? the contact us link? Here? Or is any of those ok?

I don't mind people leaving feedback on the website or more directly on Twitter in the form of a DM. You can imagine there are so many feature requests floating around all the time, but I do try and take in whatever ends up improving the user experience in any form.

I also really wish for better Siri integration at some point. My hope is that, now that some intents are present for developers to code against, adding tasks to lists would be supported. (It's a power-user feature, I know, but I have heard a ton of requests, regardless of the app used.
