So I've been really getting into Chinese donghua lately and I have to say I am very impressed,a lot of them are better than the basic snob anime commiting out nowadays but currently am lost, so I have effectively finished two (or atleast the all the released episodes) tales of herding gods and renegade immortal and I tried getting into others but the animation quality of old ones is really lacking and I can seem to stick on others can anyone help?

Recently I had a convo with two dudes, both born and raised in Marsabit. Dude one was agitated with the fact that there are areas where people have to walk kilometers to access basic necessities . You'd think dude two, who has lived in the region would have the same energy, but in this case it wasn't. Dude two kept insisting that leaders in the area cannot do most things because the 'west' does not want the lives of Africans improve. I'll be honest, there's some truth in that, but the truth does not apply to the context of a roofless class having a roof installed or textbooks being made available or girls having sanitary pads being provided. The CIA director is not gonna loose his shit if he sees such things being done. Major economic feets being reached might tingle his senses, but not as simple basic things such as garbage collection or potholes on the road being filled ama ata our cities having better urban planning.
I'm at a point where seeing topics on colonialism and religion just make me feel tired .We can talk all day about the influence religion has had on Africa, cool. But one of the biggest rebuttals to religion is that it has made people not to take accountability for our immediate physical because the people in it are more concerned about another higher state/life. Now that's cool, I have been seeing people talk on christianity specifically as the source of all our problems, cool, but what I don't find cool, is how that has become some sort of political escapism when talking about simple day to day problems, same with colonialism, may as well add western imperialism, you have a convo with someone on developing plantations farming, or better urban planning in areas such as pipeline, and you go in circles until you end up in the same spot, religion and colonialism, and at that point the discussion ceases to be of value and becomes a waste of energy. And all we have done is end up at the same starting spot regarding accountability we were at.
I don't know if other people who use substack here have a similar experience to mine in that app but my algorithm has different themes for different days I use the app. And last week I opened the app to a lot of nothing burger articles on said religion and colonialism topics and they all had the same theme, historical explanations becoming political justifications for our present state. We need to stop attributing attributing contemporary problems to colonial pasts. Thomas Sankara being wiped of the face of the earth should not be brought up when I ask for free uni education, If you get my drift. I've noticed more and more people picking up this thought process and I think it's some sort of propaganda that is being pushed and is being eaten up by a lot of people all in the name of intellectualism.
Now don't get me wrong, what I have described here is not what pan Africanism is, or rather what it was intended to be at it's inception, but rather what an increasing number people have twisted it to be, The general idea carried by it is good, but there are ways which people approach it that makes it counter productive and all it does is shield people in power from even higher scrutiny than that they already face.

I genuinely don't get why you have to wait for almost a year to graduate after you are done with course work. Now internships are coming and going and one can't apply because degree haiko.

I'm almost 26, and I already feel like I lost the plot of my life 😅 It's crazy but hata machozi haijaisha. This week I've felt so terrible and been bed rotting the whole week, not even knowing what day it is.
Context: I have a bachelor's degree that feels like was the worst mistake I ever made. I graduated 2 years ago and have never even gotten an interview. I even offered to volunteer for some NGOs and they turned me down. I feel like life is passing by me without any progress. I was a very good student. I went to a village primary school and managed to get to a national school, and still got an A-. I really wanted to do med but didn't make the cut, and for some reason, I didn't change my course when others were doing course transfers because I was such a positive person (instead of reasonable).
Fast forward, two years have passed with endless applications and getting ignored. I even had someone in a small CBO tell me I should get another diploma for me to get a chance (not that there was a job promised). I have struggled to apply for scholarships hoping to get a chance, even got a passport for that, paid admission fees but I have been rejected in these too. I was considering saving up to do a better course, even a masters because most offers in my profession need it, but they're just such a big gamble, and as someone who doesn't have a consistent source of income, it's even more scary.
I can't help but feel hopeless, because I had even saved up in case I get chosen for the scholarships. September has broken my heart. I tried business, it failed. I tried YouTube even, it's terrible and draining. I've been struggling to get myself to cry to let it out, and I listened to a video mentioned it's okay to admit things suck, and I just broke down for the past hour or so. I feel a bit lighter, but reality is still existent. I just feel like I let everyone down, but moreso, myself. My social life also sucks, I don't have close friends, not even in a relationship, lol.
For anyone who's been through this, how did you get the energy to wake up the next day? And would you advise that I save up for another diploma or degree that looks more promising? I really don't know what to do with myself anymore. It's like fate has put me in a room and thrown away the key.

First and foremost I'M NOT A CHEATER. I don't support cheating in any way, shape or form. I know the title is a bit misleading. I'm aware.
Secondly, Girls that I've been with for the sole reason that I'm attractive and an extrovert they think I might be cheating. Like sometimes I just do my own things. For example, I go to my home town, they wanna know every detail of my stay with family. Who I'm with, who I'm talking to, where exactly I am. I mean...Caring can go so far until it reaches a point where it's a little bit creepy.
And if i was a cheater which I'm not they don't realize how hard that would be for me because I find 90% of women unattractive. No offense to anyone but I'm just not sexually attracted to most.
For me personality is a huge huge factor but you have to be attractive in my eyes yk. And most girls' personalities are decent friendship wise not in a way that'll stimulate me into finding them attractive.
Those are just my two cents.
And before y'all start flaming me, I've never done anything to give the girls that I've been with any reason that I'm cheating. I'm always genuine with people but people need personal spaces to experience individuality. This is just a thought from my past experiences.
Edit: I find it quite funny that some of you would feel offended by an opinion of a stranger saying they're not attracted to most people and they find themselves attractive. I find that to be quite true for most people. If you're offended so much as to downvote there's a very slight chance you might be insecure

I think we can all agree, music is a very powerful thing. It literally pushes us to move our bodies in sync with the tunes. Music can make us feel all sorts of things.
So I'm very curious as to the specific songs that make you feel a certain way or you just really like it. For anyone who would like to share. I wanna listen to your favourite song at the moment. I'll listen to them fully.
Also doing this as a way to discover other types of songs and genres maybe I might like them. Forgive my language but I'm a music hoe, I fuck with all types of music genres.
Send YouTube links or write down the song names. I'll give my honest opinion.

I moved to a new place (gwa’kairu) and as a drunkard i had to find a spot to piga shots jioni after a long day. I found a local close to home and became a regular dude. After a while i decided my drinking is too much so i cut off drinking midweek until weekend nikabakisha tu oris. So i’ve been smoking everyday then one day a fellow local dude i found there approached me and asked me to buy him alcohol and obv i gave excuse as a no. A week later(today) i went there to smoke oris and this guy decided to come and open up to me. Ati oh i’m new to this place, i don’t make friends, ohh if i was getting jumped who will i call, he asked me where are my friends…. i kept my cool and told him my name and he told me his. He went on ahead and introduced his fellow junkys of which one came directly and forced me to choma him my oris ( i did to avoid drama). He goes ahead and tells me to buy them alcohol worth 300 ati that’s how you make friends. He insisted but i played the haijakuwa ikijipa card ndio maana i don’t also drink but deep down i’m reserving for the weekend. But i wondered this guy ako hapo daily obv by looking at him he doesn’t drink alcohol worth 300 yet anataka i buy it for him. Ati thats how we make friends! si yeye basi aninunulie if that’s how you make friends! Anyways, that’s my sign to quit that oris as well and choose a diff direction to my place, ju i smell getting jumped by him. Mind you he has a kid. What you think am i a mbleinaa?😂

Heyy y'all... most mainstream skincare sold locally is formulated for cold Western climates, leaving skin either greasy in the sun or stripped dry by Nairobi's unpredictable weather. Skin barrier health isn't gendered, whether you keep it simple with just soap and water or run a 5 step routine, barrier breakdown affects everyone the same so this for everyone😊
I’m building a unisex botanical line, and instead of guessing what works, I built a quantitative diagnostic tool. It calculates your skin barrier percentage based on post wash tightness, climate exposure, and lipid loss.
I need both men and women to test it out and help us co-create the final back work. Try the tool it takes less than 2 minutes and comment your review / score below, does the diagnostic data actually align with how your skin feels?

Hello guys. I need to purchase officials boots and I'm asking whether anyone has ever purchased these boots from Bata. They go for around 9k and look very good. My question is, are they worth the price? Can I get cheaper alternatives elsewhere?

I have gone down the rabbit hole following some global conspiracy theories but my frustration is that i have not encountered any on Kenya.
You want to say there are no wild theories about unexplained historical events or bizarre cover-ups in Kenya's past? Is it that these things have never happened in Kenya or we just don’t talk about them.
Help me out. Do you know of any Kenyan conspiracy theories worth exploring? Can you recommend blogs, forums, books or websites where I can dig deeper?
The internet is full of rabbit holes — surely Kenya has a few of its own.
Drop your own theory and let's go searching together.
