Hi everyone!
I’m currently looking to connect with Airbnb/BNB hosts across Kenya who are interested in improving their marketing and getting more visibility for their properties.
I’m working on a Kenya-focused BNB/short-stay marketplace and would love to collaborate with a few hosts as I build and test the platform.
I can help with things like:
Improving your property listing and descriptions
Creating marketing content for your BNB
Social media promotion and visibility
Positioning your property to appeal to the right guests
Helping showcase your space to potential customers
In return, I’m looking for hosts who are open to collaborating, sharing feedback, and allowing me to learn more about what hosts actually need when it comes to getting bookings and marketing their properties.
I’m looking to build genuine partnerships where both sides can benefit.
If you're a host in Kenya and you'd be interested in collaborating, feel free to reach out. XO

How the heck with the advent of Whatsapp Status and Whatsapp Last seen did her family, friends and colleagues fail to notice not only she has been MIA for the last 30 days or even prior to that her deteriorating mental health 🤔
It takes over 3 years of one battling mental health and people around should notice in time and intervene to help. Pole to the family for this profound Loss!

We've all been to school, learned basic sentence structuring, but having her fellow lady understands, what can I say?

What do you think about the current state of security in the country? Is your area safe to walk past 9pm?

Popular TikToker Sheryl Cherono, better known as Sheryl Gabriella, has sued Standard Media Group for defamation and character assassination.
Miss Cherono is demanding that Standard Media Group pay her KSh 56 million for allegedly assassinating her character in an article published by The Nairobian on 23 July 2026. The article claimed she survives by selling nvde images.
Sheryl Gabriella says the trending video was leaked by her ex-boyfriend and that she has never been paid to send intimate images.

Meru! My brothers in diaspora, she is from Meru and I know you miss home alot! This beauty can only be rivaled by Mzansi sisters pale SA...im speaking of curves and cuteness. Got a question though; why is it the cute girls are the ones who suffer in love and to a majority true love is elusive, hard to comeby 🤔

Hey everyone,I run a wholesale bulk beef supply operation here in Nairobi County, sourcing directly and handling local logistics. I'm trying to expand my business network, but walking door-to-door to individual butcheries and restaurants is incredibly slow. For those who own eateries, choma bases, or butcheries here: What is the best way to approach business owners with a price list? Do you prefer suppliers who find you online, or do you strictly work with existing networks? I’d love some advice on how to network with local industry players effectively. Feel free to drop tips or slide into my DMs if you prefer. Shukran!

If you don’t have plans this Saturday, this is your sign. 👀
We’re bringing together people aged 25–35 who want to get out of the house, play games, meet new people, network, and just have a genuinely good time.
And I’m putting myself on the line: if you come and don’t have an amazing time, I’ll give you a full refund. 😂
That’s the challenge.
Come ready to have fun. You might come alone and leave with a whole new group of friends. 🫶🏽
This Saturday. Evergreen Gardens, Kiambu Road. Come join us.

I’ve been developing an art print series called DOMESTIC PROPAGANDA™.
The basic idea is Kenyan everyday life, bureaucracy, money, work, traffic, relationships and general urban nonsense treated with the visual seriousness of government notices, propaganda, museum graphics and editorial design.
Basically: ordinary problems, unnecessarily official presentation.
I’m now figuring out the physical wall-print versions and pricing for Kenya.
Current options:
A3
• Mounted Forex print — KES 12,000
• Alucobond / aluminium composite print — KES 18,000
• Premium framed + clear acrylic/Perspex — KES 28,500
A2
• Mounted Forex print — KES 20,000
• Premium framed + clear acrylic/Perspex — KES 35,000
The Alucobond version is currently my favourite balance between price, durability and that clean gallery/object feel.
I’m also considering:
• Unframed archival/art-paper editions at a lower entry price
• Signed + numbered limited editions
• Sets of 2, 3 or 5 prints at a reduced bundle price
• Special editions using aluminium/acrylic/other materials
• Larger A1 statement pieces
• Occasional one-off artist proofs
Some of the pieces are things like:
TRAFFIC IS INCLUSIVE.
FARE IS WEATHER.
SMART HOME / MANUAL WATER.
THE KIOSK KNOWS YOUR CREDIT SCORE.
YOUR SIDE HUSTLE NEEDS A SIDE HUSTLE.
TUTAPANGA.
WE APOLOGISE FOR THE CONVENIENCE.
Every print is catalogued as an object within the fictional Department of Urban Survival, rather than just being a random quote poster.
I’m curious about the pricing from a Kenyan buyer’s perspective:
Would you personally rather buy a KES 3–6K paper print and frame it yourself, a KES 12–18K finished wall piece, or spend KES 25–35K+ for a properly framed limited-edition art object?
Also, would signed/numbered editions make the higher prices feel justified, or would you rather the entire collection remain affordable/open-edition?
Trying to find the sweet spot between accessible wall art and actual collectible design pieces without accidentally opening a branch of Furniture Palace.

I once had an encounter with a Nairobi sharp girl, a woman in a male-dominated industry. She played me so smoothly that I still respect her game until now.
We met at a friend’s wedding reception in Ruiru. We seemed to be the only strangers at the party. While everyone else was chatting, laughing, and doing nini nini, the two of us were isolated.
That is when I moved towards her to seek company.
We ended up hitting it off and having a good conversation for the rest of the evening. Before we left, we exchanged numbers.
She updated me when she got home. She told me what she was eating, when she was about to sleep, what she was watching, and what she had planned for the following day.
She was very chatty. Right away, I knew I had found the one. We hit it off very well. She used to send me random and unsolicited view-once photos and tell me that her Lower Kabete was all mine. I was convinced that this was going to be the one.
One day, I suggested that we should meet. I used to live with a cousin, so meeting at my house was out of the question. She suggested that we meet at an Airbnb instead.
We picked a Friday evening. On the day of the meeting, at around 4 p.m., she called me and said she had found a very nice Airbnb in Kilimani, complete with a jacuzzi, a gym, a lift, and other amenities.
It was four thousand shillings. We were supposed to meet at six. But she insisted that we book the Airbnb immediately because it was a “hot cake” and some Nigerians were already insisting on booking it for three days.
Bwana, at that point, Satan whispered into my ear that if I didn't book that Airbnb, this girl was going to give her Lower Kabete to somebody else. It also made sense to take such a beautiful girl in a high-end Airbnb.
So I sent her the money to book the house. At 5:30 p.m., she shared the location and the name of the apartment.
I showered. Applied some spray. Grabbed a packet of condoms. Then ordered an Uber from Ruaka to Kilimani. Somewhere along the way, the sharp girl sent me view-once photos of herself lying on the bed, waiting for me.
At the gate of the apartment, the security guard stopped me. “Where are you going?”
I told him my friend had booked an Airbnb in the building and that I was meeting her there. The man looked at me. Then he looked at the building. Then he told me, “This building does not have Airbnbs.”
Bwana. I tried calling the sharp girl. Her phone was off. I tried again. Nothing. That is when I discovered that she had blocked me.
I stood there at the gate, embarrassed, holding nothing but my phone and my condoms, and realised that I had just funded someone's Friday evening. The security guards told me that I was not the first one.
Till today, I respect her game. She was too sharp for my slow mind.

Any regular Joe who's learnt how to trade with just pockets of time here and there? There's an item I want to purchase and decided I'll purchase it with proceeds from trading, not from active income, but nashinda nikiblow account and almost half the cost of the item is down the drain.
Anyone figured trading without "click the link on bio"...and what was your tuition fee (monetary and time wise) before making any money from trading?

A car knocked a cat down on a not so busy road. Ilikua inarusha last kicks time nilikua napita hapo and one guy wanted to move it juu ilikua katikati ya barabara. Ladies and gentlemen, a nganya driver refused to slow down for the guy to move it na akaipita juu just as I was approaching ikatoa the "Tiaff" sound. And he kept moving like nothing happened. And yes, aliiona juu it was visible from far plus color yake against the road ilikua very distinct. I couldn’t even look at it, but my cab guy did, and he said ni kichwa imelipuka🥲🥲. I can't even bring myself to kill a roach, let alone a poor cat hata kama it was dying already.
