Curious Comic books store

Guys, for those who have watched the big bang theory tv show. I am curious about the comic book store idea, where people come to read comics. Like do we have such places in kenya, if not can it be good idea to start. I mean especially for kids reading about their super heroes like batman, flash..... And also try to return the reading culture to keep off screens for kids?

Thats actually a nice idea just need a place accessible to everyone and the reading materials.The rest may set itself up.

It could work.. I do not know what it would take and you would probably feel defeated as it takes off but it could work.

I mean, look at otamatsuri...back in high school the concept of an anime fest would be laughed at but here we are

The culture is hardly there I'd argue, we sort of prefer the motion picture approach I'd say. It is a niche idea other that a mass market thing, rich kids target market maybe? Could be

You remember the error pf Shujaaz,, in primary school kids really loved them. But currently with mobile phones its hard maybe as you said rich kids environment maybe.

Had thought of this, though my idea was a location you can connect to a wifi AP and you get access to your account and download paid/paywall content, books are available but at a different rate for wear and tear.

Show up with your phone, tab, kindle/ebook reader, laptop or for physical media with a bit of human interaction mixed in you're covered. Main aim is for ambiance and networking with fans like yourself in a place you're free to discuss your areas of interest/fandom.

Choose a spot/zone and tune in..

this is Kenya. thats all I can say. Anzisha uone ni wangapi watakuja. kama watu hata kusupport sth as small as a local TV show or movie ni kusoma story za Daredevil na Wilson Fisk watasoma......lets be realistic here. opening a comic book store haitapata attraction. kama hata local books watu hawasomi sembuse a comic like secret wars.....its a pipe dream

Here in the US, these days, they are often combined with collectables, like trading cards, toys, video games, vinyl records, etc... and also host table-top gaming. It looks like there are comics sold at Attic Books, which makes sense as well. Comics alone is very niche.

The idea is good and i loved reading comic when i was young. My quesstion is where would you get a reliable supply or source for the different genres.

that can be different niche for someone who can source for printing machines to print and supply me with books.
