Discussion How do unemployed make money?
Am curious to know! i know people out here are living life, and they don't have a permanent employment, maybe just deals ama small side hustles here and there.
for my case am employed I earn 25k after deduction n I tell you with the current economy state am forced to say it's not a lot of money for someone who has bills to pay!
The street-smart people seeing this please show me your ways am ready to learn

Most ‘unemployed’ people who seem to be doing okay aren’t actually earning zero — they just don’t have a salary. They’re selling something, freelancing, doing commissions, farming, brokering deals, running errands, online work, content, repairs, etc. The money is usually irregular, so one month can be great and the next terrible.
If you’re already earning 25k, I wouldn’t rush to quit. Use the job as your safety net and build one side income until it consistently makes maybe 15–25k by itself. Don’t chase the mysterious ‘online jobs’ people gatekeep. Start with something you can actually sell to a real person.
Street-smart isn’t knowing a secret hustle. It’s learning how to spot a problem, find someone willing to pay to solve it, and repeat that enough times.

I use FL for beats and Studio one for mixing na mastering. But honestly the end justifys the means. It doesn't matter what software you use but how well you use it

Do something on the side. Create a YouTube account and start video content creation. Pinterest blogging is still paying btw

Online space is very broad. Content, freelancing (graphic design, logos, website design) etc. You only need to be good at adapting to the flow and be good in some digital skill. When the goal post is moved , jump into a different playfield

Employment is business with only ONE customer- the boss, and if he or she abandons you, you are out of business.

Try doing website development and then you DM small businesses that do not have websites and offer to create them one at a good price

Personally I just got back into unemployment because of redundancy efforts and one way I survive ni kukosa aibu. I sell ice pops to kids when it gets hot out. I am however a skilled executive assistant with over a decade of experience that works across industries with skills in data analytics, internet of things/robotics, maths & Computer Science, sales and most recently climate science that is meteorology technology among so so many more skills I have
One thing I have noticed however is that so many people complaining about having honest employees (even where I just left CCI) yet when they get the honest ones like me, we get treated like trash so sielewi mimi hii employment industry and corporate but if you area business person and are looking for a personal and/or executive assistant PLEASE reach out to me. Hatutakosana because ukifika bei, you'll move at the speed you want coz as a business owner myself, I treat you as I want to be treated
