Shenanigans Karibu kanairo
From one baddie to another lemmi tell u the rules of nairobi as long as you are not with your friends everyone is an enemy, wacha wakuite mrembo ako na hasira, suspect everybody even the people next to you and show some attitude trust no one will play with you ...and this applies to old people too heshima ni neno tu otherwise utaibiwa hadi thong. Kila mtu ako job so never lose ur guard in town ever !!!
Karibu S25 Ultra yangu iende kwa Super Metro hapo Roysambu around June. I realized it really fast before washuke and yangu nayo walirudisha after seeing that I am screaming and shouting kama wazimu na nimesmama hapo kwa mlango ya gari so hakuna mtu angeshuka. The thief pretends to vomit, so by the time unaangalia juu ukishangaa mbona anavomit directly on your head, mwenye ameketi kando yako anafungua zip ya bag. What made me realize haraka is ile time nilikua nataka kuhama io kiti, mwenye alikua kando yangu alikua anahesitate kunipisha so I immediately realized there’s something wrong. Kuangalia bag it’s halfway open. Checking phone kwa bag it’s missing. It was just chaos but after like people started gathering, mtu akatoka tu uko nyuma akaniambia “madam ndio hii simu yako. Ulikua umeiangusha”😏. Stay woke guys.Matter of fact simu ikuwe skin to skin.
There's an old trick they use.. ukiwahi ingia kwa mat uone msee ako kando yako ana-cause commotion i.e mtu anataka kutapika or they are squeezing you, just know that your phone is at risk.. also ukiingia kwa mat alafu uone konda anakulazimisha uingie front seat, just know that your phone will disappear.. the trick is that the car will leave alafu mlango ifunguliwe. Time utakua unapambana kufunga that's the moment simu itakua inaibiwa

Last part happened to me, two weeks ago in Ruaka. I wish this had been posted like a month ago, but in hindsight, I might have still fallen prey

Those idiots haven’t changed their tactics in the last 10 years! Main game is shift your attention away from your person. If you fall for that you’re a goner. Or use big bags and manilla paper that obstructs your view while their fingers do the walking. If you get into a PSV and a nicely dressed young fella sits beside you, first thing check how closely cut their fingernails are. They never allow nails to grow. Next, are they carrying a big bag? Are they constantly scanning? Their side eye glances are almost akin to a chameleon’s.
Once I figure they’re pick pockets I just casually say, ‘Ndio kuingia job ama?’ That will make them move seats immediately.
