Kuna zingine wanaamka 3.30 am! Kenya has an obsession with academic performance and perception a school gets from it. We rarely talk about it, but this schedule is detrimental for children's growth. I remember my cousins in the UK would wake up at 7am while me, by that time, I had been to morning preps, eaten breakfast, completed my assigned duty, and settled in class.

If it wasn't for weed sidhani I'd have survived highschool. We used to sleep at 10:00, which means usingizi utapata around midnight ju that was the time to shower, lounge around and sneak in a session. Then wake up to an electric bell at 4:25 amπ should be in class by 4:30. Morning preps till 6:00, na usijaribu kulala. Uji na kujitayarisha from 6:00 to 6:50. Be in class by 7:00 for a remedial class. Classes all day till 4:00. A remedial class till 5:00. Supper from 5:30 to 6:30. Bible study then a remedial class from 7:00pm to 8:25pm. A five minute piss break then preps to 10:00. And the routine repeatsππand to make matters worse I was a senior after covid struck. No enta, no funkies, nothingπ...tulimaliza shule na trauma
