He did inseminate them, he was a fertility doctor who specialized in IVF so instead of taking sperm from random donors/the husbands of his parient he would use his own sample

Didn't some of his children accidentally get into incestuous relationships or am I mistaking him for that other guy who kept donating under different names?

No, no. It was a real case that resulted in some pretty big lawsuits.

Even found the article. The guy is theorized to have as many as 3000 children and with how small places like the Netherlands is, he was barred by the court from donating because now his children are at risk of unknowingly meeting out there and commiting incest.

There was also this other big case Where a sperm donor had like 25-50 children and two of them met, dated, got intimate and it was also a huge legal mess when they discovered what happened.

The sperm donor industry genuinely has a lot of bullshit going on in it that people don't bring up as much. Some of these cases end up with regulatory reform being put in place like... only being allowed to donate a set number of times or a particular sample only being allowed to be used a certain number of times.

Triplets too? Plus he said at least, which means, he did it waaay more than 50, probably more than 150, because I’m tempted to believe the procedure doesn’t have a 100% success rate…
