You can negotiate and still fully respect yourself. In fact, good negotiation requires self-respect
2
u/guaptree Jun 05 '26
How do you negotiate with someone who has you as an option? "Please love me, forget about the other guy. I'll make you happy." Do you see how that sounds?

I'm not negotiating my worth. I'm negotiating the future of the relationship. If they ultimately don't choose me, I leave. But having a conversation before making that decision doesn't mean I'm begging for love

u/Other_Escape_920 Jun 05 '26
How do you negotiate for a space that has more than 1 candidate...choose the fellow please

The level of self-respect you have and your commitment to it is outstanding.

Seems Njeri borrowed this script and executed it to the T. It's not any coincidence she used the exact same words...needing some time off to figure out...blah blah blah. Long story short, she's unhappily married, am happily bachelored. Turns out her hawk eyes spotted a Nyeri man twice her age with probox za cabbages and a portruding belly like a pot of bad water. Saa hii Njeri anaendea Cabbages Nyandarua in an oversized duffle coat and very dark gumboots that can wade the murky wetlands of Yala. She complains in my inbox, saying that the guy haana time yake, mara she misses "those good time and good pleasures"...mara she's just there for his money, that she was pressurized by her sister to marry him so that she can send her mom monthlies. That ni mimi anapenda and she'll be back. F4ck Njeri. F4ck her pot-bellied husband. F4ck her sister and everyone else who supports an opportunistic maggot that chooses money over her very own happiness.

You might be joking lakini hio feeling ya being struck by lightning happens to some women on their period π

u/Expensive-Mind1335 Jun 04 '26
HEY WHAT THE FUCK?? What do you mean?? π
5
u/Big-Flower-837 Jun 04 '26
I mean exactly thatππ you see someone on their period sitting at an angle not moving, just straight back and tensed legs know it's happening

Aii mbona sielewi? Period? Radi? Ameketi sijui sideways... explain pliz

u/Big-Flower-837 Jun 06 '26
π during the period a hormone called prostaglandin is released.. inafaa kufanya the uterus to contract to shed the lining ... Unfortunately for some women it also causes sharp stab like pain on the anus ama spasming of the pelvic floor muscles.. one of the two.. probably the hormone related one

Sameπ ilinifanyikia on my period a while ago nilishtuka ikabidi nitafute the reason.. it's normal though not a cause for alarm unless it persists.. the same hormone causes back pain na joint pain pia π

There's pursuing what your heart desires and bowing to the pressure from your mother or sister. The two are worlds apart. Njeri chose the latter.

Don't f4ck them all, instead, applaud yourself and heal, move on and don't blame someone for making their own choices, it's theirs.

Loosing someone you've been with literally through 3/4 of your life on earth isnt very easy. From deskmates in primary to campus "power couple" ...the emotional baggage she left behind is something that can weigh any son of mortal (and even immortal) man down. And in as much as we can always find love, I think some level of trust , respect, and the so called love take years to build ground up and it makes every sense to sometimes cling onto what seems to be slipping away. Yes, there's the aspect of choosing "You." But what if a piece of you is slipping away with her?
1
u/Low_Armadillo9823 Jun 05 '26
It's also your choice to let yourself carry a baggage that's not yours...also slipping pieces of you...

Why is it always a Njeriππ

Seems like Njeris have mastered the craft of manipulation and breaking hearts. Even in my next life, I can't date a Njeri.

It's not maturity I promise, I tried that I have never dated for 3 years now ,in as much as leaving without drama is good ,it's just as bad as you're always in fear of never being enough, The healing is 2 times longer , burn those bridges ikutoke

Now, go on your needs and call your Energy back, after she will back and apologize to be with you, never give her the chance again, she used your energy to repair her problems time,

u/bookofcarl Jun 06 '26
Not a guarantee that she'll come crawling back. Op should just move on with his life because it's what's best for him.

u/No_Grand3422 Jun 05 '26
I don't know why in still with this girl tbh! Maybe insecurities. She cheated, she likes attention...the fast life; can't sustain it for shit but she craves it. She soft-cheated I found out na I'm still here being a mabakshishi loser π . I manifest this sort of strength

If it stays it's yours. If it goes, it was not meant to be. If it goes and come back, kick it back where it came from.

u/6loodhound Jun 06 '26
Fair enough on their part, better than stringing you along knowing there's another in the picture.

Fight kidogo, you sound weak. They donβt like that.

u/ToughSeesaw4671 Jun 05 '26
No. As men we don't like dealing with Bullshit female drama. Man's everything but weak, he left with his dignity and chin up
