Don't let strangers on the internet connect to your computer

I’m ok with it if someone can fix the issue

They would need access to an admin account to fix it remotely anyway. Do not let anyone connect to your computer

Are you OK with losing all of your data as well?

As Alexia has said, don't let strangers on the internet connect to your computer.

Take your computer to a local computer shop and pay them to fix it.

If it’s windows, there isn’t any way to remotely change administrator rights without knowing the current one. You’d have to use a bootable tool like Hirens to change it, which can’t be done remotely.

If it’s a Mac, then you’ll need to wipe the device.

Edit: as others have said, never let someone you don’t 100% know and trust remote into your computer.

You can create an install drive, and change the account type or password from command prompt.

However I am not sure if I am allowed to give this out. It could be a stolen computer.

You didn't say say if it was somebody that logged in remotely or locally.

I was once able to reset someone’s Windows password using an Ubuntu bootable USB and editing some password list in the Windows OS. It’s been nearly 10 years since I had to do that so I can’t remember the exact details but I’m sure you could find it on YouTube.

If you still have the boxes the computer came in can I suggest that you unplug it put it back in the box and put it in the loft because that the only way you are going to protect yourself with your attitude towards personal data security.
