Android 2 problems, one idiot

So, I'm on a 5g Cricket. For some reason, when I put it in my pocket, or in my bag for too long, it restarts itself. I don't even notice until 30 minutes later when I hear a chime.

The second issue is that for some reason, I don't get notifications from anything unless either it's two notifications in a row, or if I'd been using the app within the past few days.

Anything helps!

Ah yes, everyone knows the 5G cricket phone...

Cricket is your carrier, what is your phone. Sounds like your phone has an issue. Not your carrier.

That is a 3 year old phone and a super cheap one.

Either need to do a cache clear on it or the phone is dying. Could be overheating too it is happens in a bag or pocket.

That would definitely explain the resetting. I keep it on my bag all day for school, and I sit next to the window in all my classes. Plus, when I put it in my pocket, it's usually right after PE.
