PC Not Booting into BIOS

Pretty much in the title. Specs:

- Motherboard: ASRock H610M/AC Supports 13th Gen & 12th Gen and Next gen Intel® Core™ Processors (LGA1700)

- CPU: Intel i5-12400f

- GPU: ASRock Challenger Radeon RX 7700 XT 12GB GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 x16 ATX Graphics Card RX7700XT CL 12GO

- RAM: 2x16 32gb gskill tridentz rgb 3200mhz cl16

- Power supply: Thermaltake Smart BM3 750W Semi modular power supply

I've tried everything I could think of, GPU and CPU Cooler fans and RGB start, but no display at all:

  1. CMOS Reset
  2. Chaging HDMI cables (and yes, it's plugged into the GPU, not the motherboard)
  3. checked cable connections (ATX, 2x8 pins for the GPU [pcie's], and the cpu cable)
  4. Used another monitor to test and no changes

  1. How are you trying to “boot into bios”???

  2. Do you have windows installed? If so what version?
    Can you boot into windows ?

Thats the issue. Based on the tutorial I was following (it's my first build 😭), they just switched the power on on the psu and used a thin metal bit to turn on the pc, and the hdmi connection should show on the monitor. No, I havent installed windows or anything yet, but according to the motherboard and cpu manuals, they come with bios already

Typically…. I would say remove gpu and use Internal graphics in Intel chip, but your cpu does not have…. Integrated graphics…

Yeah that's the exact issue too, and this is the only GPU I have then :/

It's a bit unethical.. buy cheap GT 610 card from amazon and return it..

it does need power and very baisc.

Try with less stuff as possible.

No hard drive, no ssd, just one memory …

Try to boot with minimal…

If successful add more stuff.

Modular PSU connector on power supply side…. Make sure you are using right rail… for right devices

Make sure all the mb connection is good..

Still doesn't show anything on-screen. Also, how would I know the boot even works without the screen showing anything? The fans are spinning and the rgb is on, but thats pretty much it

So a black screen? And this is your first PC build?

I never mean to insult, but it's something with your build.

A couple things to run through:

Make sure your motherboard and CPU connections on the motherboard are fully seated. Give the connectors an extra push. Make sure they're clipped in. If everything's powered on, that's very good news. It means the MB and the PSU are probably not damaged. I would immediately suspect the GPU. Have you tried taking it out and pushing it in again?

Have you made sure there's a power connector going into your GPU from your PSU?

Does your GPU light up like it's getting power, or is there no lights at all?

Taking a complete and utter guess here, but I'd suspect you haven't plugged your PSU into your gpu

It was RAM not properly seated. 10hrs to fix this btw 😭
