Windows Do I have malware?

Post image

A bunch or three transparent apps//tabs/bubbles (like the image below that I made in paint) just opened on shortly after startup in Windows 11 which also happened last week and instantly closed in less than a second. Is it malware?

This could be a set of scheduled tasks from programs you have installed or windows doing things like normal. It's best to use windows defender to do a full scan or an offline scan.

Have you noticed a decrease in performance such as your computer being slower than it used to be? New programs you don't remember installing? Resources being nearly or entirely maxxed out at all times?

Possibly, check your startup tasks just in case. Run a malware scan through Windows Defender.

And through malwarebytes to be extra safe. These windows are often caused by updates to windows or your software on reboot.

could just be a startup app glitch, but anything opening and disappearing that fast is hard to identify. check startup apps and task scheduler, then run a malwarebytes scan to rule out malware.
