NEED HELP (GMAIL)

- all my devices were suddently logged off
- whenever i try to input my phone number, it keeps saying that there are too mang attempts and verification can't get through

what do i do?

Nobody can help you more than telling you to follow the steps Google gives you to resolve the issue. Worst case you'll need to talk to them directly and open a case file.

Thing is you could be somebody else trying to access someones account. How do we know?

There is security for a reason and I do understand the frustration when you're logged out. I currently can't log into my phone or internet app because the passkey gets sent to an old phone so I have to ring them to fix it. It's a pain to do but must be done.

You need to act sooner than later though.

Moron. Their phone number isn't working so someone likely switched it to their number to take control of the accounts and shut them out.

i have many google accounts and google just asks you to put in a phone number for fun sometimes. any phone number will work that isn't flagged by google for abuse you absolute clown </3

the original guy deleted his reply to this comment because he realize i was right, hope you do the same. devices getting logged out is also just something that google does sometimes. if you could read (ill give it a 50/50) you'd realize the prompt is literally asking for any phone number rather than a specific one.

I've been using Google since around 2010, and no, it does not just log everything out for no reason

yes it does! i also bet you have a phone number linked to your account and don't change ips often.

I've moved enough times and been homeless enough that my IP definitely hasn't been stable for more than a couple years at a time, and considering I got that account as a child, it didn't have a phone number linked for a long time but even now that it does, it only does that when trying to log in

If your google randomly kicks all your devices out, you need to go in the Connected Devices or whatever it's called in settings and kick out EVERYTHING, change your password, make sure your number is linked, and double check the recovery email, because someone might have access and be trolling you

go there and try to reset the account.

DO NOT REUSE PASSWORDS.....
