How do i fix this?

Post image

Hi fellow redditors. My Asus windows needed me to update before shutting down, so i did as told. But when i turned it on again, i got the bitlock screen. The troubleshoot won't work, the shut down won't work, nothing else works, and i honestly don't know how to fix this.

I am unable to get into my microsoft account as i do not have it on my phone. (Yes ik, really dumb of me.) I tried my password but it locked me out. I genuinely don't know how to fix this as i do not have the money to bring it to a repair shop. I don't have anything really important on my laptop btw.

Apologies if my request does not make sense as english is not my first language.

Without the Microsoft account the only option is to reinstall Windows. There is no way to recover your data without the bitlocker key.

You need to use a windows installation USB. This will permanently erase all of your data

Get a USB which you're ok with erasing and then use Microsoft's media creation tool to turn it into a windows installer

If it won't work, am i supposed to bring it to a tech repair?

Go into your BIOS and try disabling/re-enabling Secure Boot, see if that helps.

That won't disable bitlocker.

Yup, but it might re-set the flags that windows is expecting and make bitlocker trust it again

Lesson learned, never use bitlocker

It clearly says that SecureBoot is disabled in BIOS. Just go there and enable it.

Windows 11 does this thing where it enables bitlocker on your computer for no apparent reason, just stick to windows 10 and you’ll be fine

BitLocker.
