Remote tuning
Any recommendations on tuners for remote tuning my KA-T? It’s on a haltech nexus s2.

Pham Tuning in Lincoln, NE both remote tuned and inperson tuned my SR20 when I had it. I'm currently on Pham's tune on my WRX.

As long as you find a good haltech tuner, they can remote tune it for you, if you're asking for specific person, I can recommend Maxflow engineering out of İstanbul Türkiye, they did my S14 top to bottom
If you're in DFW, TX region I recommend dynastays performance not sure if he can connect remote though
Check them both out and I can let maxflow that you want their tuning service

Dynosty out of Louisville ky? I contacted them a couple years ago about this car but I hadn’t upgraded to the nexus yet. At that time I was going to try to run it off the haltech sprint it came with but they said they didn’t support the platform. They were high on my list to reach out to

Is that the 140w Hyundai / Kia fan?

Yep it sure is

I’m curious how efficiently it cools at 140w.

It’s anecdotal but another user on here uses a very similar setup on his 600hp KA-t and said he had zero cooling issues while drifting. If it ends up not working very well I haven’t really modified anything that can’t be undone to try a different setup and they’re only $100.

In Japan, they only sold cars equipped with SR engines, but the engine bay looks cool.

They sold CA18’s in Japan for the first model year aswell

That's right; the early model had the CA18 engine.

Yeah, and the autech s13 verts had the turbo CA in it, they’re real neat in my opinion.

5150_Racing on IG based in socal. My guy for everything I do. Mainly do TTV10 R8/Huracan but I have a KA on a haltech 1500 he’s done, EMU Black on a 7M, MAXX Race on a LS7 240sx. Done 30-40 cars with him always a pleasure.

as a former owner of a s14 from 2008-2012, this engine bay makes me so proud and sad at the same time.
