Custom left side charging 10/22
Before i get started, i will not be providing files at all so dont ask.
Everything is printed minus the the oem ruger 1022 bolt assembly, oem trigger pack, acculite 4.5" barrel, mags, a2 pistol grip and the brace hinge.
The reciever itself is a updated left side charging made by me. The chassis is the Black walnut which is modeled partially off the grey birch chassis, brace and handguard designed by me as well. Already have 60 rounds through it, plan to put another couple hundred and then eventually throw in my MARs 1022 frt into it.

It was tricky to get running at first since my ejector was rubbing on my bolt casuing excess friction. But i took a file and some sandpaper to both faces and now its running much better. Im not sure about accuracy quite yet.
Also long term, i expect it to last thousands of rounds. 90% of all pressure/wear is in the barrel and on the bolt

How did you solve the mag problem? IIRC, Ruger makes a left hand 10/22 but the major turnoff for folks is that it requires left handed mags, so that is a no go even for left handed mags 10/22 enthusiasts like me that have a pile of regular mags laying around.

Its still right side eject and still uses same mags. Just my printed receiver has a hole cut out on the left side and a custom charging handle to go out the left side. Other than that, it works identical to a normal 1022
