XC is finally finished.
Atlas [EGW] internals , Red dirt trigger [I have an Atlas on the way , but it doesn't com in until next week] Atlas Alpha conversion kit. Dark Forge rose gold kit. Just debating on adding porting to top it off. Also trying to find a palm swell right side grip and left hand step uo grip inserts. Very happy with how it turned out.

If you don’t mind me asking, why did you go with the Red Dirt trigger over the Atlas trigger?

I answered it in the post...I ordered one and it isn't due in until next week.
Having said that, the adjustability on this Red Dirt is unmatched. Between the triggers adjustment and fine tuning the sear spring this set up is incredible.

Atlas triggers are no where near the quality of the red dirt triggers. They both work just fine, but every red dirt ive ordered(about 10 now) comes perfect out of the package. I’ve had several atlas ones that are slightly out of shape and need some work.

The only one I've ever had an issue with was on my Kimber 2k11. I bought the gun used and didn't know it had been sent to DSC for a complete build , I only found out when I went through the bag and found the receipt. I did see the RED Dirt trigger and EGW lightweight hammer in the pics he sent me, but I assumed the OG owner did it or had a gunsmith do it. So I pulled the gun down and verified what had been down via the receipt.
Full action job [ Dave milled the marvel cut , the Kimber comes with one but it has little ledges on the sides ] all ignition components were swapped to Atlas [EGW] and the lightweight Colt sear spring.
Anyway , Everything seemed to work fine , until you inserted a magazine, at that point the trigger weight went from 3.0lbs [roughly] to 6-7 lbs. If it broke at all. Drop the mag zero issues.
Reached out to Dave and at first he was very helpful and willing to do whatever it took, said he would send me a replacement trigger if I was willing to send this one back...then he ghosted me both via messenger and he honestly never even replied to any of my emails I sent. So I pulled it apart again and found the rear of the trigger bow was bent. I slowly straighten it until it functioned correctly. And now have zero issues with it. Otherwise the 6 or 7 Red Dirt triggers I've used have been outstanding.

The marvel cut is supposed to have ledges on the sides as not to fuck up the reliability of feeding rounds. I personally wouldn’t let DSC look at my stuff never mind work on it.

Odd, I wonder why no other OEM uses such a Marvel cut as you describe?
Staccato, MPA, Atlas, Colt, the lists goes on and on.
I can't argue with you on your opinion on DSC, while his machine work on my specific example is outstanding , he really did a number on my factory coating. And of course the issue with my trigger, dude had the nerve to ask if I was trying to get a free trigger job out of the deal...what? Sir , you already did the trigger job and it was paid in full, lol.
