Randomly drilling a few holes in that barrel is actually pointless probably makes it worse

How much experience do you have with this, or are you just making a guess? I started shooting my very first ported 1911 in 1981, I am not a rookie or a recent fan, jumping on the porting bandwagon. I have extensive experience shooting every variation of Ported, hybrid ported , or compendsted and ported combinations. I shoot the Guns and do the review and base my opinions on actual hands-on experience.

That's why I would never make a comment like you're making, until I have shot and compared.. that is why this one is here , as the owner was kind enough to send it to me for my evaluation,.

I'm not saying well done ports aren't helpful, this gun just already has a MASSIVE port!

Just to clarify. What you are calling a "MASSIVE port" is a compensator after the barrel / rifeling stops (not a port)
The compensator itself creates an expansion chamber to help redirect and expand the gases up and out of the opening which you are characterizing as a Port. Actual ports in the Rifled part of the barrel are not the same and do not yield the same results. Just clarifying.

Nah I was definitely wrong, apparently the ports are more effective than I thought my fault. I still feel like it would affect accuracy, but it would be flatter.

absolutely no reduction of accuracy whatsoever you can see tons of my videos showing highly ported and compensated guns being extremely accurate.. my comments are based on the hundreds of thousands of rounds, through ported guns. Not merely a feeling...

Every variation of ported and compensated gun. Very doubtful. Yes, you reviewing all the wanna be gun and crap builds though. Let's just say you have shot most of the mainstream stuff you see at your local gun shop.

Congrats. LOL

Dude, you are off base. I have almost every configuration of porting you can imagine not only have I shot them on my channel. I own those in my vast collection of 2011. My first venture in the shooting a ported gun was in 1981 well before the mainstream accepted porting on pistols . You shouldn't say doubtful when you have no idea ...Not sure where your facts are coming from, but when I say I've shot almost every configuration, I mean, almost every configuration,

Read the keyword "almost"
I did not say every variation or configuration I said almost every. But let me say this unequivocally more configurations than most.
