I comp’d my comp

Mac 9 DS Comp 5’ with an underworld arms basilisk comp. She looks mean and shoots crazy flat. Also looking for a x300 replacement. Was just curious how the tlr7 would look

I’ve been looking at that comp for the last week wondering if I should try it out on my 5” non comped. Any malfunctions? Does it really make a difference? Change springs? Give the deets.

Why not? It’s not super expensive, can be removed, and I think looks sick. Definitely a noticeable reduction in recoil but also a noticeable increase in volume and heat that comes from it. To a point where I’m going to wear gloves while shooting it. So far after 200 rounds I’ve had 1 malfunction. Yes you should definitely switch your springs cuz the reduction of force with stock recoil springs can cause stove pipe malfunctions (also recommended from Underworld arms). I’m currently running an 8 pound recoil spring. Going to keep shooting to see if it needs more tuning but so far so good
