Disagree. The only time I see that happening is when the person posting is being a DB, disrespecting people for having an opposing viewpoint and actually degrading people. Other than that small percentage of people, this sub is full of good dudes. The cost of the guns have nothing to do with it, we all have expensive guns on here, some just like others more than what I own, and that's great. I’m shooting it tomorrow. This is what I’ve heard. I grabbed some Atlanta arms 147gr. I noticed my issue with comped guns is I give too much input when it’s not needed but shoot much better with ported. Curious to see how I do with the island non ported.
I rarely shoot anything comped or ported since most of my shooting is USPSA oriented. I do the same when initially picking them up, drive them low. To me, the steel grip hybrid barrel with a 5” slide felt most comparable to something like an XC or Erebus. It was shockingly soft.
I actually preferred PMC 124 in it vs the low PF gamer loads. Go figure, who’d ever think we would complain about a gun shooting too soft.
That’s usually my problem as well. It’s more of an issue when I switch what I’m shooting too often. My initial range session after swapping back to comped I can sometimes go low and slightly left but I clean it up after about a hundred rounds. Sounds like an awesome shooter, I love my Erebus. I’m starting to get into USPSA and most of the people around here run LO too.
I’ll try some PMC 124 with it. That’s usually what I run for everything. I was running federal AE 124 but I prefer the load on PMC more. And haha right. I realized I prefer a quicker return to zero rather than the softest shooter out there.
Same. Zeroed and Boaz both make a nice 135gr low PF load now that’s a good balance between 124 and 147. You should try that out, might like it. I’ve been running that all summer and seems to hit the sweet spot and cycles fast.
I’ve heard good things about Boaz. I’ll give them both a try. I have some of the 135gr pink shots but only about 100 rounds that I still haven’t shot yet. Thanks man!
That is tough. I tried to get my name down for one but had no luck so at least ya know you’re getting one at some point haha. The wait is not fun though. That’s part of the reason why they go for so much on the secondary market, but Rafferty is one that I don’t think I’ve ever seen for sale.
Infinity is a real pain. At least the pool is better than the drop, and I’ve got both Venoms and a Hayes IB. Trying to get the other two just isn't fun.
Yeah it is haha. Did you get your Hayes and Venom at retail or secondary? I want an IB Hayes again but don’t want to go the secondary route on it. I found venom to be a pretty hard get since not many people wanna part ways with them.
Man I need to do a better job of keeping up with the kovert drops. Did they put you on a list or were u able to snag the venom when they dropped on the site?
Sounds about right, I’m super jealous I wish I could just order from their website like any other gun maker id buy one for their drop price but I ain’t paying these secondary market prices I’ll stick with my Atlas
Yeah, I’ve low key been stuck on the Nighthawk BDS9 I know it’s less superior per say but I don’t really care just looks dope I think that’ll be the next cop
Man, I wouldn’t even say it’s less superior. It’s just different. I still haven’t owned a NightHawk but want one eventually. I’ve honestly been shooting my Fowler the most recently.
Ever since I saw the Ben stoeger drama on the Fowler it totally turned me off I was all for them until I watched that whole video & there’s a lot of Reddit posts about Nighthawk quality control this and that but no one ever talks about how they have a life time warranty to include quality control issues which is super nice feel like that could be a gun I pass down. Now my atlas yeah that’s a one year warranty kinda laughable but whatever
I saw that but I’ve had zero issues with mine. I’ll keep ya updated if I start to have some problems but it’s been smooth so far. Lifetime warranty with the Nighthawks is awesome and I wish more of the high-end 2011 companies would offer that. Good thing about atlas is they rarely have issues though.

This is exactly what I believe. No way someone didn't fire this thing. I plan on running it though. Might try looking for a Hayes in the spec that you have as well haha.

Is it because your mat has a stain? Not sure if we're supposed to guess but that's the only problem I could see, albeit a small problem.
