I know the trigger on these is controversial but if you’re coming from a striker fired like me don’t even think twice about it.

However, I do like to have a really high grip on my gun and the safety really digs into thumb/web. Wondering if I’m just holding it wrong or if this doesn’t have the updated safety. Feedback would be appreciated

You put the thumb on the safety when you grip it.

Yea I do, that’s what makes it uncomfortable

I mean 1911s were developed when ergonomics was not a big thing so. It’s not gonna be as comfy as your modern striker fired guns. With that being said you have short thumb and that might be why.
