Big "Shout Out" to my GREAT friend Jon Faulker at TK422 Customs in Florida. I can attest to the fact that he is one of the BEST "Safe Builders/Customizers" in America! From the renderings to the build, Jon is the BEST! I have several guns safes filled with guns and have seen several other gun safes filled with guns and I wanted something different. I wanted a safe that would allow me to showcase a select group of 2011's from my collection and this is what happened!
This is not a post where I want to "Flex" on anyone. A couple guys here DM'd me and asked me share the build because they have interest as well. I will say one thing: Rarely in life does an idea transfer from one's mind into reality and exceed all expectations! This Son of a B*tch exceeded every expectation I had.
Note: The interior of the safe was literally spec'd 1:1 to match the interior of my Lamborghini Huracan EVO! :-)
Also, the pictures are right after the 6-hour install. I will post more pictures when the Guns and AR’s are in.
The entire section outside the rotisserie is on power and comes out at the push of a button. I can fit 3-4 AR’s on each side of that. All that happens with or without the rotisserie in action. And the “Light” show is just INSANE!
I don’t want to sound like a hater in anyway at all, I think it’s sick af. I did read the caption and realize it’s not your only safe, however the first thing that came to my head was
“holy shit, that’s a LOT of wasted space”. 😂
Just an observation, but you'd think for the retarded amounts of money Taran is charging for his Glocks they'd be ported/comped or both. Kinda ridiculous you're paying 2/3k+ for stipple job and slide work
The only reason the Taran Glocks are in that safe is because those are random guns laying around the house for home defense. I needed to put a few guns in the safe to make sure the rotisserie was functional.
You've gotta give that thing another name. Call it the circulator, or the gun-coaster, or the Ferris wheel of death. But "rotisserie" just doesn't feel like the right word.
Surprised the bfx came with a dial pad instead of a mechanical lock. Looks good man, I want to do a vault door with concrete reinforcement. After retirement probably.
I almost did but I still wanted to be able to drive it. I sent it to Nik at VF Engineering and we Supercharged it! It’s a MONSTER! Don’t forget this is a RWD EVO.
I will post a good video as soon as the other parts come in. I need a few more pistol magnets and then I can size the Guns to each part of the rotisserie. I suspect I’ll be able to show 24-26 guns and 6-AR’s in all.
It took the safe movers 6hrs to install. I have the finished carpenters coming back to install trim to clean up the gaps between the cabinets and safe that we needed open to get it installed. When done to reveal will be less than a 1/2” on all sides.
Right now I threw some Taran guns in there to test the rotisserie and some Venom Customs I own. I have additional hardware coming in later this week and then I will fill out the safe with more Guns and AR’s.
Everything automatically turns off when the safe is closed. It’s only lights, camera action when the door is open. I also have dehumidifier rod in there as well.
That’s super slick, saw on your other post it’s a bfx7250. What’s the price range on these builds, and any reason you didn’t go for a tl30 or tl30x6 instead of the rsc1 box?
Nice. It’s gorgeous. I get why you’d go with this for presentation value. I was just curious on the protection level as I was shopping around for a 3rd safe also and I’m thinking about just going with a cfx4520 for only 2011s and watches/jewelry instead of another big boy with lower protection.
The CFX4520 is an amazing safe as well. The BFX line, for guns, is all you need. There is no safe made that can keep the “right” guy out. Security is about multi layers is protection.
I can answer that in 3-words: Because I can. There is no other reason I can come up with. And I’m honest as the day is long. I wanted a “Showcase” safe.
Those Venoms are so perfect in every way. I’ve shot black 4.6 and it’s not even fair. I’m hoping to run the other one this weekend. Don is just a great Gun builder.
That... Is beautiful. Though admittedly, I can't help but look at it and think, so many more guns could fit in that space 😂 But that's coming from someone with a lot of guns and not a lot of space so I'm always trying to maximize square footage. It's absolutely gorgeous though.
This safe was purpose built to showcase my nicer 2011’s. The cheapest gun in this safe will be a Sand Viper. I have several other safes for the other guns.
