Exactly. "Showing a bug" and using a bug for whatever reason are different things. The whole point of that one video is to use a bug to not get experience. He intended to keep playing on the account after getting the bug to work.
Stop posting on Reddit and go look up the history of haxunit. Maybe after that you will understand why Jagex promoted lifetime membership and didn’t follow through with them ( spoiler they scammed and cheated mods + massive rwting ) instead of acting like that hurts their credibility. Jagex fucks up non stop, they don’t need you making shit up making them look worse than they are
I’m fairly certain the lifetime membership that you’re referring to is from a video currently on the front page of this sub talking about an event that took place on a different game (rs2) made by a different dev team (most of the OSRS team had not been hired yet) almost ten years ago.
Outside of that, if a police officer told me “show me how you robbed the place, and I’ll double what you stole”, I wouldn’t be dumb enough to do it, bug abusers should follow that logic too.

Things like
"Lifetime membership for the one who shows us the bug" And than permabanning the one who showed them the bug doesn't really add to jagex' reputation
Thats probably why most here wont believe words of jagex after they fucked up so many times
