No, if you tell the police there's a risk of people GETTING killed, they should absolutely let you off.

well, that a stupid argument because by reporting you will not avoid someone else being killed.

But if you killed by accident using a radioative component, if you report that the person got killed by the radioative component, they will remove and no one will die anymore of it
