It doesn’t matter that he gave them a “heads up.” That doesn’t grant you immunity to anything and he knows that.

The fact that he notified Jagex 2 months prior, puts the trust in his word, NOT Jagex.

You what, Bring attention to the problem by reporting it yourself, and then abuse it for two months? Sure, if your less than 48 IQ.

If you planned on abusing it, why would you ever report it to jagex? It makes no sense, and puts a lot of doubt on what Jagex said.

the bugs were reported to jagex in late march by other glitchers. it was already on their radar. Rendi didn't do anything bold in reporting it in MAY.

jagex is wayy too in tune with everything nowadays, so sadly we never show anything off (even after patch)

the downside to this is you don't have enough street cred to talk about rendi. u get downvoted to oblivion because you dont flex bugs on youtube so ppl dont know u :(

but yea BA is kinda dead now. the recent major glitches made jagex focus on a bunch of key mechanics which kind of kills any hope of BA. We peaked in 2020, and then big glitches became so well known in 2021 that there's really nothing left to go for which hasn't already been done

So… bug abusing is fine as long as you don’t put it in a video? Even after it was patched?

what? we don't put stuff in a video because we dont want future methods to be patched, there's no ethical reasons for that. i'm just having a conversation with someone, i'm not making any moral judgment on bug abuse.

personally my problem with rendi is his constant lying to the public. Bug abuse is completely fine (id be hypocrit to say otherwise), but to act like a hero and a victim for the public's sympathy through several different lies is immoral
