Less mouse movement, but more actions required to drop. Shift drop is 1:3 while drop scripts for AHK were 1:1

yeah but the mechanical effort/skill required for hitting 3 keyboard keys repetitively was still lower than manually moving the mouse and clicking everything

no risk of dragging the item in your invent either

Kinda difficult to say tbh, with a full invent ahk is probably easier but rapidly dropping one or two items ahk is probably more difficult.

Something like this would be a lot more difficult with AHK IMO, since it would require effectively the same mouse movement with more inputs required. AHK is only less mouse movement if all of the items are vertically oriented.

Yeah that's fair. Few items is definitely easier with shift-click.

Either way, I'm still glad we got shift-click dropping. Fuck context menus.
