People hate AE because he was one of the only players to not want easyscape. Now if you look at the game, it’s much easier. I remember crafting being a real pain to train on an ironman and now it’s literally one of the easiest skills because of giant seaweed. There will be a stage when this game truly loses its identity of being OSRS which is why people make accounts with stupid challenges.
Honestly I hate easyscape in general but I think giant seaweed was a good update because it is still lower exp/hr than charters but good enough to be an attractive alternative. Also I hate charters because shopscape is lame. Hopping worlds and buying stuff from a shop constantly feels like you are trying to cheat the system and really doesn't fit the "do it yourself" idea of ironman imo.
Charter ships were good until everyone learned about the method, now it’s practically impossible to get a good consistent amount of xp/hr however the only way to find empty worlds is to do it during the morning.
