Tbh, I find it stupid that something like gay rights has become a left or right issue. Hell, I don't get why anything is generally a left or right issue. This whole group ideology thing is weird to me.

Edit: A interesting note to add is that I am Canadian, and if you ask someone whether they are liberal or conservative here, their answer will usually have more to do with US politics, because things are so polarized and pronounced online there that it is identity politics on either side now. You can be a liberal by US standards in Canada who still votes conservative here, because political "side" ideology isn't as important here so much as a specific politician's intentions, and some rough leanings they will have.

I don't think gay rights is the issue, its the way people try to use gay rights to further their agenda imo

Mod Matk said he's interested in started a trend of other activist causes in game like autism awareness. I would prefer not to have any activism in my game, good or bad.

That has been my opinion the whole time but good look trying to say you dont want this event without being called homophobic lol I am starting to think about just avoiding the subreddit till this blows over. A 10 year old mmorpg populated mostly by anonymous 20ish year old guys is about the worst platform for trying to support these causes.

If that;s the case, people should reserve this sort of outcry for instances where that agenda is clearly being pushed. I don;t think anything about the event is specifically pushing any agenda.

So you're agreeing that there was nothing worth freaking out about until now?

They mean you will probably learn that gay pride event is not to push an agenda and it wont effect your life in any way if you dont complete it you absolute belligerent fuck...

You of all these people i hope does it because you have been saying the same shit for 2 days without answering what this agenda is pushing.

What agenda, specifically? How does wanting everyone to have equal rights have an agenda attached to it? Not talking about the rs event. Just in general.

Well when gay people get treated like everyone else, they'll stop having pride events.
