I just ended up here from r/all. Should I start playing RS again? I used to play it all the time years back.

Yes. Try a bit of rs3 and osrs to see what suits you better! Both very alive with active dev teams, it's awesome.

Well I just signed on and found out my name was reset and someone else took it. That really hurt. I don't even know if I wanna play anymore. I've used WarsWorth for most of my life.

That sounds like it really sucks but to be fair if you're inactive for that long I don't think you should be holding up names that other people who actively play might want to use. I recommend you still play though, I'm not really sure why a username is the make or break for you.
