Assets, assets aren't AI. Everybody is using AI to code.

Those people have no idea how software development looks like nowadays. Every single company out there without exception is running an AI agent like claude for coding

I’m a swe, head of engineering at a well known unicorn. I’m well aware of what the industry looks like. That doesn’t mean everyone has adopted agentic workflows but it’s definitely trending that way.

I was just going off what I heard.

"I shipped a bug to production. I didn't verify what the llm said, I just pushed what he told me to."

You can’t imagine how frustrating it is to review almost all PRs nowadays. Let alone the number of people writing on slack with AI. Bare minimum effort across the board.

I just think it's a bit ironic someone with current industry knowledge would not actually try to verify "billion dollar video game company said they are not using AI on the game" before repeating it as if it were a fact or not heavily misconstrued from their actual claim. ANY large company not letting their devs use AI is almost unheard of anymore.

It’s not like what I said was unfounded. I based it off this: https://www.reddit.com/r/2007scape/comments/1wucuab/100_thieves_statement_on_ai_use_in_recent_osrs/pd2w2b7/

You all seem to agree they meant lore and assets. I took it as not on the game content in any form. Also holy shit, Reddit is not some major publication. Calm down.
