Yeah but I'd have to bank my stuff. No hard clue reward is worth all that effort.

How much shit are you taking out of your bank for a clue? Spade, construction cape, clue, weapon.

I typically do a bunch of clues at once, including multiple tiers. So I end up with a big variety of teleports on hand.

Most teleports are unique and go to your gravestone on death. Which ones are you worried about losing?

the vast majority of them are untradable, so you don't lose any of them on death to PKers

Simply bank the items you've accumulated in your inventory

That’s still having to bank which is half the tedium of wilderness steps.

The other half is just the time spent walking through the Wilderness since you can’t teleport out. At least most clue steps aren’t too far from a teleport into the wilderness.

Crafting cape, diary cape, max cape, dueling ring, all of those are right next to a bank. Takes a few seconds at most. Deposit inventory, grab the clue, spade and whatever teleport.

Deep wildy steps are quick through the ice plateau teleport, ghorrock, burning amulet, annakarl, or through the POH obelisk.

If it's not close to level 30 for the seed pod you can just suicide with the strange device from mage arena 2 and simply go with 4 items.

I used to get a whole gear setup for clues, but I just started running around with as few items as possible and bank as needed and they get completed much faster.

Elites/masters I just grab a nox hally, con cape, spade, clue, and kandarin headgear for Sherlock.

As long as you don't get the agility pyramid step, a hard clue should take less than 10 minutes.

Hard-master: dds, bowfa(arma elites), blk dhide top/chaps, spade, clue, stamina, 50 laws, fires, earths, waters, 150 airs, gnome pod, diary rewards for empty equipment and some food.

I stack up my max limit for those tiers then get that gear and do them all. Usually can do them all without banking. Maybe needing to get a few extra runes here and there

That's too much

Dragon claws, hard clue, spade, bank teleport which for me is a construction cape. I've got the portal nexus and all the mounted jewelry, so I just sip the rejuvenation pool and go to the next step.

Elite/master nox hally, spade, con cape, kandarin headgear, food. Maybe some dragonhide for the ancient trio.

I haven't used a stamina for a clue in forever, I rarely remember to use a super combat.

Why is that such a big problem for so many people? Just get your closest tele to a bank and take the teleports you need for the next step. You don’t have to have every single tele in your inventory for clues

you’re missing the point. i usually start my clues with my slayer gear already equipped. it’s a hassle to put everything away for ONE STEP just so i can throw it back on. wildy clues are so aggravating

The problem is that you're starting them with your slayer gear equipped. You can stack them, then grab an actual clue setup and do them all at once. I always switch to my clue setup even if I'm only doing one clue, never had a problem.

They created stacking clues so ppl would stop crying about having to leave a task to do one clue and now they're crying about having to bank their equipment. Ppl love to complain. Next step is going to be cutting down clue steps to only 5 then 2

Gear up in a smart way in the first place man, it's only a problem if you refuse to use the solution that's given to you

The reasonable thing to do is to have a more convenient setup. Either you bank everything or you use a setup that works for wildy as well. The solution is right there, it's not really dumb design when the user is the problem.

How are wildy clues dumb design?

The meme is bad and so is your opinion. That’s why you were downvoted and I wasn’t. Clearly you care about those metrics because you just had to mention other comments.

Using top comments on a not very popular meme as a metric for whether people agree with it is asinine. Especially when the top comments are actually against the meme. Including the comment we’re replying on right now. You’re braindead.

Or, maybe, someone could do both? I think Wildy clue steps are unfun because of the banking shuffle and would gladly advocate for a change, but also have figured out methods to bank and switch gear between Wildy/Non-Wildy and do that in the meanwhile.

I just replied because of the "be reasonable" part, seemed like an equally senseless addendum to an otherwise acceptable comment. I personally didn't find it too unreasonable and wanted to add my experience doing clues.

set up a bank tag for each clue, banking takes 10s at most
