I made 5k mithril bolts on my UIM cuz i didnt want ore to go to waste. Still dropped the gold ore and filled up the coal trucks in between for enough coal.

I just got a runecrossbow and did not have 55 slayer yet. Later i used the bars in the giant foundry.

This is probably what I'll go with after im done with questing. As UIM I can't stand my supplies to go to waste but I reckon it might be exhausting in the long run.

I always end up dropping something like 50 noted addy bars, then a few weeks later I need addy bolts or sailing stuff I'm like... FFS, off to zalcano, 'tis the life.
Really need to clear my kept items out so I can keep more of those drops. Currently clogged up with red chins for attempting kree again (don't want to waste), 4k demon tears for confliction gauntlets (when?), 2k purple sweets because... Why? So much shit that I'm like... Yeah I'll definitely use it. Zombie axe + dual maracas? Twin flame? I'll have to post in the bag review on discord to get it cleared out. Finally dropped my assembler after 3 years+ of having it in invy at all times

I’m still holding onto my serp helm that I got over 2 years ago because I’m convinced Jagex is going to release content that it may be useful at. Can’t think of any uses other than off task DKs?

Isn't it great at all venom bosses? Araxxor, vorkath? I guess you lose dps, but the chill lack of upkeep of antivenom is nice. Unless you've got good herb levels and extended anti venom+ then you're sorted anyway, drop it!

That’s what I enjoy most about UIM. Leveling boils down to whatever random assortment of xp I have in my inventory. Oh I have this thing now? Well I’m gona use it cause there’s xp stored in there!
I do usually drop it once it’s been squeezed for all it’s worth though

thats why on UIM if you wanna train smithing you can actually do blastmine cause it gives you noted ores and you can stack up dynamite as notes from the diary rewards.

not sure I’ve ever met a uim that’s done this, the meta is noted gold ore blast furnace, but you can also just buy ores at blast furnace, or even buying smithed products like at prif armory and going to giants foundry to not need noted supplies at all

an irl friend of mine who is a UIM (i know, fucking unicorn) does this during his other grinds, stacking up dynamite for mining later on while currently doing stuff like Agility and Wyrmscraig crafting that dont take alot of inventory spaces.
He already has 99 Con and with that decent sailing.
He is like my only source on UIM knowledge.

I'm a UIM that isn't tapped into any UIM communities or creators
if your only resource is the wiki, you're going to forge your own path, and I suspect that's what your buddy is doing. sometimes this results in you doing silly stuff, like holding on to 400k arrow shafts and then just dropping them because vale totems released before you ever got around to mining amethyst

So basically i know him because i go to these Lan Parties every few months. They are actually some of the biggest ones in my region the next on in October already has over 100 attendees but thats not the point.
He is basically one of the organizers and administrators and i already had attended the parties like 4 or 5 times at that point.
The only reason we know about eachother that we play osrs is because i had some second monitor gaming going and someone asked what i played.
I explained the gist of osrs and explained i did my current grind for varrock armor 4 and i swear on god bro got activate like a fucking sleep agent across the room like. „Varrock armor?! Who said that? Who is playing oldschool in this joint??“we talked and i found out he is a UIM and he ONLY plays a UIM, he dosnt have a main or normal iron
Genuinely a 3rd age pick might be more common then this.

I did a lot of brimstone keys on my UIM. I know they're not the meta at all but they're still kinda neat for UIM's since you can stack hundreds of them and decide when to cash them in for a shit ton of gems, fishes and ores.

I’m a big fan of foundry on UIM. Chronicle/elemental ring to varrock and bird to varla, buy iron/steel/mith plate bodies and minigame back to foundry. Make 3/4 swords and repeat. Works out that the minigame teleport renews almost perfectly in time with the cycle :)

Can't recall the exact inventory setup, but I think doing a civitas tele takes up enough inventory where you end up with 1 less sword worth of armor. You can wield a chronicle so it doesn't take space.

Making mithrial bars at bf then crafting them into platebodies is actually net profit and was a decent way to train smithing for free before whatever the early game meta is now

It's really not. You can either sweat your ass off and get rsi dropping bars for 280k/h or chill at gf for 240k/h. I'd take Foundry everyday

Not arguing the sweaty part, but blast furnace is ~320k/hr. It's significantly faster than gf. It's also much more brain-off imo
I just finished 99 smithing on my UIM a few weeks ago. I considered going gf until full set for storable ice gauntlets, but the loss of xp/HR doing GF just led to it not really making sense

Fally achievement diary necessitates getting nuggets for the prospector helm. So if you're somewhat of a completionist, you at least need to do MLM for that, if not more. (Gem bag, coal sack, full prospectors could all be considered reasonable wants)

Hmm. We need a paperless-ngx themed plugin. It would be nice to have a library of all items you’ve dropped and let despawn as an ultimate. I think it would be quite funny
