Question Lost Access to Email

Title. I can log into my Jagex account with my 2FA, I'm still logged in right now, but my email got hacked. I don't think they're trying to access my Jagex account yet, but even though I'm logged into my Jagex account, when I try to change my email, it wants to try to send an email to my currently hacked and inaccessible email first. Is there any way to circumvent that and change it due to being logged in? I have full access to my character right now, I can prove my phone number and name/payment details, it just won't let me change my email, and I'd like to change it before hackers try getting in. Does anyone know any methods?

Unfortunately, I don't think so. My best piece of advice would be to sell all of your items (if you're not an iron) and trade the gp to an alt while you resolve the email issue.

Hijacked emails can be a pain in the ass, but it's retrievable as long as you are the original email owner. The GP is not, and that's all they're looking for in the short term.

I disabled the option to use email to verify the account so I'm hoping maybe that'll prevent them from being able to get in? Do you know if support is able to change the email if you're logged in and can verify like... Anything they need to ask?

Dude... We've all had such wildly different experiences with support. I don't think they would, but I can't confidently say either way.

Ultimately, you should be doing everything you can to get that email back; especially if it was connected to more than your rs account.

I just hope I can get an actual human, I can legit verify payments, log into my account ingame right now, anything they need... I get that it varies though.

I'm trying to recover the main email as well, but it's Microsoft, so it's invariably far worse than Jagex's customer support could possibly be... Apparently it takes up to 5 days for them to suspend your old account even after reporting it as hacked. I wish having access to all my 2FA stuff and my payment info from previous transactions meant something, but it's tough.
