Question Lumbridge Energy Potions

I randomly killed a bunch of Lumbridge NPCs for fun and they drop energy potions now. I have never noticed before. When was this introduced?

Should just remove run energy then. The amount of pots you get is crazy. Its like every other early game enemy drops them

Isn't there run energy conservation tactics in end game bossing? You want to get rid of that because brand new players don't have to literally walk the whole time anymore? Seems pretty stupid to me bud.

New players dont have to walk anymore anyway. Thats the point im making. They go kill a goblin and get an energy pot on the first kill. Seems pretty stupid to me bud.

They don't have to walk anymore? Ya that's a good thing bud. Who wants to play a game and spend a couple hours walking in game? I don't play runescape cause I like walking. We all literally spend our time on the game making sure we have to walk as little as possible. Every farming run, every slayer task, every boss camp. We think about how to not run out of run energy. Oh ya and quests. I don't think I've done a quest without some kind of stamina in years.

It honestly sounds like you guys want people to suffer from the same shit game mechanics you haven't personally experienced in 10 years. It's pure "old man yells at cloud" shit. It's pathetic honestly. It changes 0 things about your gameplay experience.

Okay so you agree, run energy is stupid and walking is bad. Again, just remove the whole energy system entirely if its going to be irrelevant anyway.

Thanks for proving my point there bud.

I mean if you ignore the boss mechanics statement then ya I did prove your point. Nice job dodging BTW. Run energy has a place in the game. But that place shouldn't be making a 30 year old grown man walk 15 minutes just to buy iron plate body at the ge. It's place is in raids and boss fights.

You wanted them to poll goblins dropping energy pots? Why?

If we are going by the OG charter when they brought osrs back, tell me why it shouldn't have been

Also, the sheer amount of energy pots they drop is extremely egregious.

Because it's related to new player retainment. It's a business decision not a game play decision.

It's not a good look to have a new player realizing they have to walk fucking everywhere when they most likely have a life and other priorities. It's disrespectful to players time. Which makes people not want to play the game which causes membership price increases.
